As a symbol of friendship of Spokane’s sister city(Nishinomiya, Japan), the Nishinomiya Tsutakawa Japanese Garden was finished in 1974.

The garden features a beautifil landscape that reflects Japanese culture and gardening.  

It is located within a mile of Manito Park, so stop by if you have the opportunity. You will not regret it.

The key centerpiece of this garden is the waterfall which flows into the Koi pond. There are plenty of benches for you to site and enjoy the peaceful and relaxing view.

There is also a bridge that allows you to view the carp up close, which is always fun!
